See bug 3519 (iirc). Meta bug for pending 1.0.3 issues. There are a
lot of em left. Maybe not all will be fixed in time, but don't discount
the coders you see around me.
As for the splashscreen bug, we have 'fixed' versions but they need
approval by certain folk who have not (or are unable to) reply.
For 1.0.2 without the buggy splashscreen:

Note: the above download requires winsock2, but I'm sure Gurunet doesnt

I personally dont plan on 1.0.3 real soon but we'll see what H.Figuiere
has in mind.
