    I have implemented the xp and win32 code for behaviour requested
    in 3109; only minute change is required to get this woking on other
    platforms:

    (1) the code that initializes the dialogue should call getHyperlink()
    and if the return value is not NULL set the text in the edit control to
    this string

    (2) subsequetly the text in the edit control should be selected.

    whoever implements the Unix version, please close #3109
