At the high school where I work we have a Linux Server running RedHat
7.3 and the Linux Terminal Server Project (LTSP) mods. The server runs
twenty NIC thin clients which are used by the students. The version of
AbiWord is the one which comes with RedHat 7.3 (sorry, I'm writing from
home now) and it is the default install.
The problem is that AbiWord seems to work just fine on the monitor
that's connected to the server. However, when I try to run it on one of
the thin clients I get an error message (twice) telling me that AbiWord
can't find the Times Roman font, then the program crashes.
I've tried the fix the error message reccomends, which is to add "Load
"type1"" to the XF86Config file in /etc/X11, but this doesn't seem to
make any difference.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for the help,
Alex
