I just downloaded 1.0.4 on rh7.2 and followed the amazingly simple
"make" instructions and IT ALL WORKED. What a joy. For 3 years I have
been waiting to do documentation at work without hitting a brick wall in
the first couple of minutes, and I was in heaven. It did everything I
asked. It did sane things at every move. It was beautiful. Thank you
all, THIS is what I have been wanting for a long, long time. No font
problems. No crashes. No weirdness. No grief. No nothing. This is a
fantastic "product" and I couldn't be more appreciative.
I did encounter the same "save-as" ambiguity mentioned by Mr. Foster,
and if anyone finds time to clarify the extension-vs-format uncertainty,
it would probably be helpful. Perhaps (when appropriate) insisting on
an extension that describes the format would clarify matters a little.
But it was a minor point.
This is a superb achievement, and everyone ought to think so.
