    AbiWord has a "Normal View" look up "view" you can also hide as many of
    the toolbars as you want - unfortunately we don't have means to easily
    switch between different settings at startup. It wouldn't be too hard to
    do but no one has done it.

    Send a email to the abiword-dev@abisource.com development list with the
    feature request and also place it in our bugzilla as a Feature Request.
