Thanks to all who replied. I have a couple of followup questions:
(1) During ./configure I received this:
creating config.h
configure: warning: libwv will not have wmf to png support: see README
However, there is no mention of wmr or png in README. What does this
message mean?
(2) What does --enable-scripting buy me?
(3) After ./configure the following is printed. What is psiconv and wv?
Configured to build on a Unix/Linux platform.
Configured with libjpeg support.
XML Parser: libxml2 in -L/usr/lib -lxml2 -lz -lm
zlib: zlib in -lz
PNG Library: libpng in -lpng
Psiconv Library: supplied psiconv in /usr/src/abiword-1.0.5/psiconv
WV Library: supplied wv in /usr/src/abiword-1.0.5/wv
iconv: system iconv
spelling: GNU aspell in system location
(4) Nothing happens in Abiword-->Help-->Contents|Index
What have I done wrong that there is no help?
