         I meant I'll manage (I hope) to figure glabels out, not the
errors; maybe what they're telling me is that it *needs* to be
connected to AbiWord and called from there?
         Here they are :
[btth@localhost ~]$ rpm -q glabels
glabels-2.0.3-2.fc4
[btth@localhost ~]$ glabels &
[1] 473
[btth@localhost ~]$ I/O warning : failed to load external entity
"/home/btth/.gnome2/yelp-bookmarks.xbel"
(gnome-help:489): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_strrstr_len: assertion
`haystack != NULL' failed
(gnome-help:489): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_strrstr_len: assertion
`haystack != NULL' failed
(gnome-help:489): Gdk-WARNING **: gdk_property_get(): length value
has wrapped in calculation (did you pass G_MAXLONG?)
         I dunno from haystack, though I've built the old-fashioned
kind, much less xbel or G_MAXLONG; are they things glabels expects,
and would get, from AbiWord?
