changing default printing command

Thanks to James Cloos pointing out gtklp I can now print envelopes on my
Brother HL1440 printer. Another reason to have use Microsoft Windows gone.

But, I have another question I couldn't find an answer to.
How do you permanently change the default printer command and "Print To"
selection in the abiword print dialog?
Right now it defaults to "lpr" and "color". I would like to change the
command to "gtklp" and "greyscale" printing. Changing these only lasts
for that print. Come back into print later and the defaults are back. I
checked through the menu items and looked at the man page. The man page
only mentions a print the document switch.

So, how can you change the defaults?
