         What OS are you using? Linux can certainly do such things, 
though they're beyond such skill as I yet have; I watch this list 
mainly because my wife is writing a book (and I'm the nearest thing 
she has to IT support), so I haven't had occasion to learn about 
boilerplate, and how AbiWord handles it. But I bet it can. And if 
not, someone here can tell you a way to do it in conjunction with 
AbiWord if not under it.
         If you're chained to the Evil OS (which I believe AbiWord 
does run on), it may well still be possible; it certainly should be! 
That's one of the things computers are for.
