begin braindump
tracking the mailing list
statistics for this month/week
longest threads
longests emails (ignore, advertising/sigs/pgp blocks/commit messages but
not commit descriptionss)
commit summary (changelog daemon)
end braindump
not even remotely as useful as Jespers summaries but a dump like this
would might make it easier to do the weekly news or just allow people to
more easily dip into the archive.
maybe someone even has some scripts already lying around or knows of
existing stuff that would help.
if i have time i intend to start helping with mailing list summaries (but
for now i need to make sure to pass exams in stay in uni)
off to hear martins speech now
bye
