Note however, that the article contains a factual error:
'Jiddis(c)h' is *not* a Semitic language, and it is not normally written
from right to left. It derives from Middle German with an enormous
number of Hebrew loan words, expressions etc., as it was spoken in the
shtettls in Central-Europe. I suppose Hebrew, Arabic and the like are meant.
