Yes, it's Bug number 3210.
What seems to happen is that AbiWord when running on Windows prints fine at whatever your default print setting is. If you try an alternative setting then as you have seen the font size is wrong. In my case my default print setting is Draft so when I try Normal or Best qualities with my HP printer the text is way too big.
I'm using WinXP, other users have reported the same problem with other Windows versions.
Until this problem is fixed, AbiWord is useless to me.
