Cursor-wrap and bidi anomalies.

Hi, I've been an impressed and appreciative AbiWord user - now 2.2.3 -
for some time but at the moment find myself stumped by its unexpected
behaviour. I'm sure there is an explanation.

The cursor seems to I_wrap itself around a phrase_I (pardon the bad
reproduction)
and seems to occasionally insert text left-to-right, and occasionally
right-to-left.

It sometimes inserts on the left side of the written line, only to
find text on the right side.

A full stop intended for the right hand side of the line, ends up on
the left.

What may have caused it ?

I'm trying to write something which is supposed to be a finished
document by the end of the week
and I'd rather not have to cut & paste everything to Open Office.
